We’re Looking For Special People.

While there is no attempt to match members to a “perfect” profile, we seek professionals with enthusiasm for their work and an understanding of the value of networking. We find that successful members share many of the following traits:

• Longevity with their company
• Accustomed to a substantial income
• A decision maker
• Exceptional skills within their area of expertise
• If in sales, consistently performing in the top 20%
• Owner, equity holder, senior officer
• Prominent within their organization
• Seasoned judgment and well-developed leadership skills
• “Center of influence” in the community
• Experienced networker
• At least 5 years in business with $200K in revenue

Basic Requirements

APEX provides a setting that is potentially rich in opportunities. The success of each group is directly related to the spirit and commitment of the leader. We maintain a consistent attitude throughout APEX so that the efforts within each chapter are multiplied throughout the organization. In exchange for participation in this powerful business league, there are four things that are asked of each of our members.

• ATTEND MEETINGS, and miss no more than two in a row.
• SHARE REFERRALS with other members for which there is business that fits the recipient's client profile.
• PROMOTE APEX-OC by recommending a new member twice a year.
• PAY DUES on the first of each month. ($125/mo. covers the cost of the monthly meetings, including a cocktail, wine, and gourmet meal. NOTE: There is a one-time application fee of $99.)

If You Are Interested in Membership...

First time guests who have received an invitation may join us for the introductory part of our regular monthly meeting — cocktails from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. This is an informal setting where you will be able to meet our current members and hear more about APEX. Please bring 12 copies of a one-page handout about your business, and be prepared to give us a brief (5 minute) presentation on who you are and what you do.
